Bits and Spurs
I have always been interested in well-designed, well-made tack. I have been making bits and spurs for 20 years, mostly for friends and relatives. Recently, I have begun taking orders for custom bits and spurs. I make traditional steel bits and spurs that can be engraved with precious metals. I also make my own hand-forged damascus steel, which results in work with a distinctive striped pattern resulting from the different alloys of steel that are forged together.
